What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enrichment Instructor position at PS Tutoring?
Here at PS Tutoring, we believe after-school enrichment opportunities can be incredibly powerful for all communities!
We are currently looking for dedicated and energetic instructors for Elementary, Middle, and High School enrichment classes located in the Chandler with the ability to start ASAP. There is a possibility of a sign-on bonus!
Don’t have classroom experience? Not a problem. We will be providing curriculum and training workshops on classroom management, setting expectations, and ways to build rapport for instructors who may need additional support.
This position may be best for folks looking for a supplemental income, as hours can range anywhere from 3-10 per week depending on scheduling and enrollment. We do have additional opportunities within the company to work as a tutor for in-person and/or online sessions. If this is something you’re interested in, please let us know. We are happy to add you to our Tutoring team on an as needed basis.
Each class will meet 1x/week for the duration of a session (6-12 weeks). We offer classes Monday through Thursday at different campuses. [[Our first session of classes has already started and will continue through the first week of December.]] The next session will begin at the end of January through May of 2023.
We are only looking to hire those that are available at least 2-3 days a week from [[2:30-5:30pm]] [[Monday through Thursday]] and who can commit to classes for the next 6 months.

- Beginner Spanish
- Coding (Scratch)
- Drama Club/Improv
- EnGenius Kids
- Homework and Tutoring Assistance

Job Duties:
- Facilitate group enrichment classes and assist students in targeted subject areas
- Contribute to a friendly and productive classroom environment
- Model and promote a growth mindset and encourage a collaborative learning environment
- Create and manage resources
- Commute to schools within the_ Rochester area_
- Meet regularly with the supervisor
- Host workshops on selected topics
Requirements:
- Must be living within the area where classes are held
- Experience with children is preferred, but not required
- Must have own transportation
- Experienced in enrichment topics (preferred)
