Position: Service Desk Technician Tier 1.0 Position No: 9933
Location: Stennis Space Center
Anticipated Start: Upon Availability Type: Full Time Experience: Entry Level
Qualifications: US Citizen, High School Diploma or equivalent, and must be able to obtain/hold T I public trust “clearances” supported by a limited background investigation.
Required Skills: Entry Level – Basic computer skills, typing, excellent communication skills, and customer service focus
Desired Skills: Experience in IT service desk environment, service desk Institute (SDI) certification, ITIL foundation certification, CompTIA A
Job Description: The Service Desk (SD) Technician shall perform Tier I services and support to customers to ensure that service level support to local and distant customers from various locations around the world. Services provided include Help Desk support by fielding trouble calls, prioritize workload, and escalate problems, trouble ticket management, active directory account management, and the escalation of problems to support agencies. The SD Tech is responsible for ensuring that customer expectations are met or exceeded.
