About the Opportunity:
- Our client located in Canton, MA is a children's acute long-term care facility and is currently in need of an experienced RN to be part of their growing team
- The facility is a Joint Commission Accredited, 90 bed pediatric hospital predominately serving children and young adults (ages 8–22)
- You will take care of patients, facilitate their speedy recovery, and educate them and their families on prevention and healthy habits
Primary Duties:
- Provides primary nursing care to patients by administering medications, injections, and treatments by charting vital signs; and by evaluating patients’ conditions, and notifying physicians of specific abnormalities
- Exchange of appropriate patient care and clinical information when patients are admitted, referred, transferred, or discharged through the Interdisciplinary Team and Discharge Process
- Provides ongoing supervision to subordinates regarding performance and the need for training
Qualifications:
- Active RN License in Massachusetts
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures
- Capacity to interact with individuals who are under physical and/or emotional stress and stressful situations
