- Collaborate and consult with teachers, principals, and other key staff to implement and maintain appropriate educational practices that enhance achievement and promote healthy adjustment.
- Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEP), Individualized Services Plans (ISP), and/or Intervention Plans for students as needed.
- Create periodic progress reports and documentation for students, and deliver these reports to administrators, teachers, parents, and PSI staff (e.g., your supervisor) within designated time frames.
- Cooperatively schedule students for services according to minutes indicated on their IEPs, ISPs, and/or Intervention Plans.
- Develop innovative and motivating Lesson Plans that relate to student goals/objectives and their curriculum and that are appropriate for student age, grade level, and ability.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and other development opportunities offered by PSI and/or other agencies that enhance and extend your professional expertise.
- Adhere to federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to the delivery of educational services.
- Adhere to confidentiality standards in the provision of educational services for all students.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Intervention Specialist License Issued by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE)
