Delivery Driver

SUMMARY
Operate a panel truck to deliver finished products to customers in the local area. Physically stage products for shipping and perform general warehouse duties upon completing the delivery route.

• Shift is Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm
• Monthly, variable incentive program based on the Company's financial performance

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operate vehicle safely and in accordance with motor vehicle laws.
• Perform physical activities, such as loading truck with packages scheduled for day’s deliveries.
• Deliver packages and get receiving slips signed.
• Maintain simple records of deliveries and truck mileage.
• Follow maintenance schedule for having truck serviced.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read directions and use navigation to plot delivery route.
• Operate forklift / lift truck and telehandler safely to move and stage material.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit (1/3-2/3 of shift) while driving and stand/walk (1/3-2/3 of shift) while performing warehouse duties. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employees are required to use dual lift or lift devices for heavier loads. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth and perception, and ability to adjust / focus.
