Clinical Psychologist
Psych 360, now part of MindCare Solutions, is a leader in comprehensive mental health solutions for long term care communities: clinician owned and operated. We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist that is looking for a partnership in a growing organization with a strong team-mentality.
Compensation: $110,000 - $115,000 per year Bonus Opportunities
Position Summary:
- Both part-time and full-time options are available
- Travel to nursing and/or assisted living facilities to provide on-site patient care
- Analyze and evaluate patient data and test or examination findings to diagnose nature and extent of mental disorder
- Collaborate with other clinical professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress
- Gather and maintain patient information and records, including social and medical history obtained from patients, relatives, and other professionals
- Designs and implements treatment programs by evaluating patient's willingness to change
- Set treatment objectives; tailoring approach to patient's needs while consulting with other professionals
- Provide brief psychotherapy, crisis intervention and/or personal counseling utilizing individual, conjoint and group treatment modalities
- Log all client encounter/activity in EHR (GeriMed)
- Provide information regarding community-based organizations and social services
- Complete discharge plans
- Plan and arrange personal work; consult on difficult or unusual situations and problems with immediate supervisor
- Conduct Psychological evaluations as appropriate
- Counsel and educate family members by advising on the most appropriate and helpful roles they can fulfill in the treatment process; treating relationship issues
- Maintain confidentiality of clinical and sensitive administrative information

Requirements
- An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited university (required)
- Licensed Clinical or Counseling Psychologist in the State of Ohio (required)
- Applicants must successfully pass the required criminal background check and drug test
- Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be appropriately insured
- Ability to document personal identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act [I-9] requirements
- Have excellent skills in diagnostic assessment and counseling
- Desire to work in a fast-paced team environment
- This position requires sound clinical judgment, professionalism, and independence
