Job Purpose:
The RN demonstrates a competence level of nursing and rehabilitative practices to provide safe and effective patient and family-centered care for the patients and families in the Behavioral Health units and commonly cares for patients from adult to geriatrics with the following mental health diagnoses such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, PTSD, and Anxiety.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- 1 year of RN experience preferred.
- Current WV RN licensure or Current State Compact Licensure required
- BLS Current
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
Required Skills
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
