Position Summary
The analyst will be responsible for accounting, finance, and corporate development work. The workload will be more accounting heavy in the beginning and over time transition to become more finance and corporate development focused. The analyst will offer clarity and insight into the financial health and performance of the business and the implications of potential acquisitions. Work will span all levels of the organization including clinic level accounting, corporate accounting, corporate finance and corporate development duties. This is a highly visible role that will interface with company leadership, partners, and owners. The position could evolve into a leadership role for the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Complete standard monthly financial reporting packages
- Responsible for external audit/tax support
- Integrate newly acquired entities to ensure compliance with company standards and policies
- Perform due diligence on acquisition/development targets
- Create proforma financial models
- Create and monitor company KPIs
- Evaluate and (re)design company/departmental structure and processes
- Create analyses, presentations, etc., to assist C-suite and owners in decision-making
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- CPA preferred
- 2-4 years of public accounting or similar experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance concepts
- Ability to distill and communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance personnel
