What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at PT's PUB?
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink options
- Operate cash register and handle customer payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and prevent over-serving
- Prepare garnishes and ensure bar supplies are well-stocked
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for banquets or events
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for cash handling
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse clientele
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and mixology techniques
- Familiarity with cash register operations and handling cash transactions
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
