PTMW, Inc. is hiring for a Structural Designer position and is seeking qualified individuals with structural design and detailing experience to work in our production facility.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent working knowledge of structural design and detailing, along with knowledge of assembly and welding procedures.
• Practical knowledge of AWS, IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC codes and standards as applicable to detailing and design.
• Practical knowledge of Structural steel connection standards of the industry.
• Practical knowledge of Reinforcing steel fabrication standards of the industry.
• 3D modeling experience using Solid Edge, Solid Works, AutoCAD Inventor, etc.
• 2D drafting experience using AutoCAD.
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with manufacturing process experience.
• Self-motivated, demonstrated initiative and ability to take on projects.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize tasks to meet required deadlines.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and create technical documents, engineering drawings, engineering documentation. Ability to create documents and correspondence to effectively present information, respond to questions, solve problems and justify needs.
• Attention to detail.
