Masters-level clinicians, graduates of clinical or counseling psychology and clinical social work programs, needed to perform psychosexual evaluations at JJPI in Survivor Services. This position reports to the Evaluations Coordinator/Supervising Psychologist or the Survivor Services Coordinator. Remote work is available. Clinical intake experience required. Full assessment battery experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Comprehensive Bio-psychosocial Evaluations (CBE) for children, adolescents and adults in the outpatient program.as part of a team and under the supervision of a psychologist
  • Interview participants and other parties involved in a participant’s’ care.
  • Administer psychometric measures and interpret results.
  • Write comprehensive evaluation reports in a timely fashion.
  • Reports must be submitted no later than two weeks after the date of evaluation.
  • Attend clinical meetings and scheduled supervision.
  • Maintain clinical records in accordance with agency, managed care, and licensing requirements.
  • Adhere to JJPI’s SOP policy for completing CRS paperwork, including submission of utilization reports at the end of each week.
  • Maintain compliance with guidelines and requirement of various funders..
  • Work effectively with other staff and contribute to the development of a team approach to treatment.
  • Must maintain own liability insurance.
  • Post-doctoral clinician may also provide treatment services:
  • Make initial contact with client within five working days of assignment.
  • Complete an initial treatment plan within the first two visits of client contact.
  • Complete updated treatment plans every 15th session or 90 days.
  • Complete clinical progress notes within five days of session with client.
  • Complete case management progress notes within five days of activity.
  • Follow up appropriately with clients who have missed a session and continue appropriate outreach
  • Complete discharge summary within 30 days of termination date.
  • Complete and submit utilization reports (case management and clinical hours) at the end of each week
  • Complete required court reports for court-involved clients
  • Maintain compliance with guidelines and requirements of various funders.
  • Work effectively with other staff and contribute to the development of a team approach to treatment.
  • Understand and communicate with other programs within the agency and work to foster a collaborative team approach across all programs.
  • Understand the impact of the caseload requirements on the financial performance of the agency.
  • Work with other staff to develop new treatment programs to promote the financial performance of the agency.
  • Promote the agency in interactions with other agencies and professionals.
  • Must maintain own liability insurance

Skills:

  • Must have excellent interviewing, assessment and writing skills
  • Must function as part of an assessment team consisting of supervising psychologists and psychiatrists.
  • Ability to meet timelines
  • Training in providing evidence-based treatment to survivors a plus

Experience:

  • Candidate must have completed a masters program in clinical or counseling psychology or clinical social work
  • Clinical intake experience required. Full assessment battery experience preferred.

Education Requirement:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited clinical or counseling psychology or clinical social work program

Salary:

  • Compensation is flat rate for evaluations and hourly rate for therapeutic services based on qualifications and credentials.
