Job DescriptionThe Executive Producer, Post Production is responsible for leadership of the post production team and to ensure success across the business by delivering the best quality work with great communication across all departments. They are responsible for leading all aspects of post production, including management of producers, supervisors, artists, client relationships and collaborative management for the direction, growth and vision of PXP. The ideal candidate will manage current projects and accounts, as well as grow the business by working with the Managing Directors and Heads of Studio. The EP will ensure projects are produced within approved budgets/deadlines. They will work to develop close relationships with clients and participate in hiring talent and outside vendors when needed. Role / Responsibilities Generate and maintain revenue for the company through client relationships and strategizing with Managing Directors/Head of Studio/EPs to do so. Curate talent to present to clients by leaning into the craft of the editors or artists. Bid new projects and help find leads/new work for the studio. Encourage and mentor the growth of early career/developing producers. Help assign producers to projects and oversee their progress on assignments. Manage the budgets for each project from start to finish, and ensure proper overages are being presented when needed. Help the producers to maintain profit margin for each project bid. Work with the Managing Director to establish all project margins, budgets, and discounts. Work with Business Affairs/Legal to ensure compliance, all processes are considered, and all projects are run above board and by the book. Communicate changes in projects to department leads and management. Maintain a positive client relationship through both written and verbal communication as well as high levels of client satisfaction by accurately fulfilling client needs and resolving problems quickly and efficiently. Complete additional duties as required.Location & Commitments Full-time hybrid in-person / remote role, located in New York. Travel could be as much as 20% of the time (average of one day per week) for in-person meetings with PXP locations and Publicis Groupe agencies Late nights and weekend work may be required; however, our goal is to make that the exception rather than the norm QualificationsCandidate Requirements Ability to work with other EPs/HOP and collaborate as part of a leadership team. Experience in a fast-paced post-production environment. Strong experience in a supervisory role at a VFX house or post-production vendor. Strong understanding of post-production workflows, tools, and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve Ability to create and maintain a positive working environment and to motivate the team to contribute at their highest and most efficient capacity. Strong computer skills, including experience using MS Office, Google Docs and other production software. Demonstrated superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are needed. Proven planning and problem-solving abilities are required. Very strong ability to identify clear priorities and to meet department goals. The ability to work flexible hours if necessary.
Additional InformationCompensation Range: $98,500 - $165,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
