Job Description
Epsilon is seeking a high-energy and high-impact individual who could best be described as a “wearer of many hats” to drive success in our sales and product training initiatives. Our Sales and Product Trainer will be the driving force in creating and executing training programs to a diverse and eager group of sellers. These programs include (but certainly are not limited to) sales best practices, product enablement, communication skills, and new hire onboarding. The role requires you to be an awesome communicator, outside-the-box thinker, willing collaborator, and fun-loving teammate.
- Facilitate live and on-demand sales and product training sessions centered on topics of:
- On-boarding new Epsilon sellers
- Sales best practices
- Product enablement
- Industry and competitive knowledge
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to build and deliver impactful training content:
- Work with business and sales teams to understand learning needs and objectives
- Align with marketing teams to build enablement plans around client-facing assets
- Meet with senior leadership to provide updates and gather feedback
- Aid in management and administration of sales and product training programs
- Build, execute, distribute, and archive training content
- Research (internally and externally) to keep training content relevant and engaging
- Internally – gather feedback from sales teams to understand current challenges / opportunities
- Externally – research industry trends and adult learning best practices
- Build reports / tools to measure and quantify your success!
Knowledge and Skills
- Able to:
- Facilitate in-person, webinar, and pre-recorded training.
- Coach and provide feedback to Epsilon associates of all levels.
- Collaborate cross-functionally
- Meet deadlines and handle 3-4 complex projects simultaneously.
- Creatively solve problems.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient knowledge of adult learning principles and techniques.
- Proficient understanding of online learning and physical classroom environments.
- Demonstrated competency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Zoom.
- Willingness and ability to learn new systems
Experience
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of product training and/or sales training experience.
- Program management experience preferred
- Experience in ad tech / mar tech space preferred
- Instructional design experience is a bonus
Education
- 4-year degree in Business, Communications, Psychology, or similar preferred.
