Publix at Paraiso Parc (Store #1068) and Laguna Isles (Store #743) in Pembroke Pines are looking for professional, experienced scratch bakers by trade. What you’ll do:
- Prepares baked goods and doughnuts, many from scratch recipes
- Trains other associates as needed
- Operates bakery department equipment
- Assists customers and delivers premier customer service
- Dynamically sells product
- Responds to customers’ questions and provides them with information needed to make product-related decisions
- Loads and unloads large baking ovens
- Maintains Publix's high standards for product freshness and sanitation
- Reads and understands recipes and
- Assists in other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
- Retail or commercial experience as a professional baker.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service.
- Ability to follow instructions and multi-task in a busy, retail grocery environment.
