In this role you will build and manage data pipelines (data ingestion, data transformation, data distribution, quality rules, data storage, etc.) for an Azure Cloud and Databricks platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in data transformation, data modeling, master data management, and metadata management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent analytical discipline
- Minimum 9 years’ experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications
- Minimum 7 years’ experience working with an enterprise database management system (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Azure Databricks Developer with Spark
- Experience with data ingestion to one or more Azure services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure DW) and processing the data in Azure Databricks
- Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Pyspark, Python, SQL or relational databases and data pipeline management
- Advanced knowledge of cloud-based data pipeline development and deployment
- Experience writing complex SQL queries and extensive data warehousing knowledge
- Experience working with different file formats including XML, Json, and Parquet
- Experience developing code to process large volume data in batch
- In-depth knowledge of modelling and design of database schemas for read and write performance
- Experience performing root cause analysis on all data and processes to answer specific questions and identify opportunities for improvement
