Assistant Controller

Pugh Executive Search is helping a Large, PE Backed company headquartered in the South Fort Worth area in the search for a Controller or Assistant Controller to manage Financial Reporting and Operational Accounting for their $200M company that is growing both through Acquisition and Organic growth! This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Corporate or Operational Controller to make an impact and develop enhanced procedures to move the company forward. The leadership at this client is top-notched and we have worked with this CFO for over ten years. We advertise for a Controller with Great Plains or MS Dynamics GP due to the fact that this software is robust and the client wants to hire someone that can come in without that learning curve. To be considered for this role we need to see the following:

• BBA in Accounting, CPA is a plus but not required
• Strong working knowledge of Great Plains or MS Dynamics GP accounting software, (including software implementation / conversion) is ideal!
• Ideally 10 years of hands-on Full G/L, Financial Reporting, PE Firm Reporting, and Experience scaling accounting teams for growth
• Experience in both middle market and large company accounting groups would be advantageous
• Experience with Purchase Accounting and performing Due Diligence is a huge plus
• A GREAT attitude!
• Ability to work in a hybrid office/home office situation. Although this company is 100% remote currently, they will be transitioning to 2 days in the office after Covid settles down
• Immediate Need, the position is relocating from another state and they are ready to hire!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
