Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the emergency shelter, including overseeing staff, volunteers, and resident care procedures.
- Supervise the care and treatment of residents, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort.
- Utilize program management skills to enhance shelter operations efficiently.
- Conduct budgeting tasks to ensure financial sustainability of the shelter.
- Collaborate with external partners and agencies for effective relationship management.
- Lead program development initiatives to improve services offered by the shelter.
- Provide administrative support for record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with regulations.
- Utilize supervising skills to guide staff in delivering high-quality care to residents.
Requirements
- Personal, reliable transportation (no carpooling)
- Smartphone for clocking in and clocking out of shift
- Ability to reside at the shelter for the duration of the task order
- Start on Monday (8/5/2024)
- Must be able to work overtime. Potentially 7x12 per week. 40 hours at regular rate ($35.00), and 44 hours at OT rate ($52.50). Weekly rate working all hours would be $3,710.00.
- Shelter Staff experience highly preferred.
