What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Development Specialist position at Purchase Area Development District?
The Purchase Area Development District (PADD) is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Community Development Specialist. This position is primarily assisting local governments and communities in management of local and regional infrastructure and community development projects, as well as evaluation of community needs.
Skills required include excellent verbal and written communication, ability to work well with diverse populations, initiative and self-direction, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, experience in Microsoft Office applications.
Applicant must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in public administration or a related field. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
