Pure Life Raw is a fully loaded custom raw meal prep service, we are a small team with a strong passion for animal nutrition & wellness. We're looking for a dynamic individual who values the importance of real, natural, raw food for pets and wants to grow with the company. We're making this easy & more accessible to amazing, appreciative pet parents all over the US!

Main Job duties:

• Chopping & Grinding Meats with a commercial grinder
• Following recipe sheets accurately to make large complete & balanced blends using a commercial floor mixer.
• Preparing and packaging raw meals for individual pets using a digital kitchen scale.
• Packing individual meals into plastic meal packets & vacuum sealing.
• Managing Freezing and Defrosting of meat ingredients throughout the week
• Using a meat slicer and dehydrator to make pet treats

• Dishwashing and sanitizing
• Keeping the kitchen area, tabletop, floors, all work surfaces clean and sanitized throughout each shift.
• Maintaining a tidy and organized communal work area.
• Taking out the trash to the dumpsters
• Inventory management on ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Regular deep cleans of the kitchen space

Requirements:

• Follow proper safety procedures, this will include but isn't limited to: wearing protective gloves, slip-resistant shoes, and protective clothing/aprons (provided by management)

• Ability to lift 50lbs

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time in the production area

• Must be an individual who is dependable, flexible & easily-accessible.

• Professional food handling or kitchen experience.
• Comfortability training with new heavy machinery/equipment(meat grinders, mixers, etc.)
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Food handling certificate preferred.
• Heavy Machinery experience preferred.'
