The Role:
Pure has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Recruiter to support our Senior Director, Global Executive recruiting in driving a talent strategy that yields the critical talent engagement needed to achieve our business transformation objectives and growth objective to become a $5B Data Platform company by 2025.
The impact of executive recruitment at Pure is driven by:
- A deep business understanding that allows Executive Recruiting to aid business leaders in succinctly defining relevant skill sets for each bespoke talent need in relation to Pure’s overall business strategy;- ; acting as a consultative partner to senior leaders as well as HRBPs and Talent Management
- An ‘executive search firm’- type of talent research that fuels superior search strategies, identifying talent landscapes through the lens of competitive benchmarking and resulting insights, succession planning, and DEI
- A highly proactive involvement regarding future talent needs, resulting from a deep partnership with Talent Management
- A bespoke and extremely hig- touch utilization of and contribution to Pure’s stellar EVP
For aligned client groups, an accomplished executive recruiter will forge deep relationships with Pure’s senior business leaders and our partners in Talent Management, HRBPs, and Rewards to understand business goals, succession plans and related talent needs, our internal bench strength and our external hiring requirements, both in the short and long-terms;- informing a powerful talent strategy.
Day to day, this role will be responsible for:
- Partnering with Senior Director, Global Executive Recruiting and business leaders to understand business strategy, near- and long-term talent requirements, and internal leadership bench strength
- Developing and executing on talent mapping/talent universe prioritization for needed areas of leadership scale, domain expertise, and business process excellence
- Executing on proactive, always-on pipelining strategies in partnership with business leaders, for key types in aligned areas
- Embedding the lenses of diversity, equity and inclusion in all processes, practices and outcomes
Your Impact
- With a standard of excellence, lead the recruitment process full cycle in close partnership with sourcing (identification, engagement, interview/assessment, decision making and offer/close) to achieve high quality hiring outcomes for Senior Director and above roles in our organization
- Develop segmented approaches best suited per client group and required talent profiles, optimize the composition of our external talent pipeline with a deep understanding of our internal pipeline; support internal and external candidate calibration
- Drive always-on talent pipelining approaches, creating co-ownership with business leaders to assure clear accountabilities for a diverse external bench of ready successors for business continuity and scalability
- Embed and contribute to a powerful and diverse executive recruiting strategy
- Contribute to the continuous development of Pure’s world-class, executive recruitment practices, including internal consulting, talent research and mapping, stakeholder management, candidate engagement and experience, candidate assessment, decision making and offer management
- Proactively drive talent attraction and internal moves to address succession coverage gaps
- Stay engaged with external talent mapped in our succession plans to continue to nurture their understanding of Pure business and culture and their interest in consider us an employer of choice
- Leverage talent analytics to evaluate programs, processes and identify opportunities
Candidate Profile - This role requires:
- 8 years of executive search experience with strong track record of successful placements, (a combination of search firm and in-house experience)
- Domain expertise in, and practical application of, executive search best practices, spanning full lifecycle of executive search
- Insightful and thoughtful in assessing talent
- An obsession with high performance and a passion for supporting the attainment of the business strategy through leadership appointments
- Proven ability to quickly build relationships at all levels and innately develop a high degree of credibility and trust with internal clients
- Strong ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and demands while executing against critical quantitative and qualitative goals
- Excellent management and communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to interact effectively with senior executives and senior managers
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to use sound judgment to drive complex issues to successful resolution
- Ability to see the future of our business, understand interconnections between roles and functions, and support others in quality, long-term decision making

The annual base salary range is: $154,000-$232,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
