We are a professional Long Island painting company looking to grow and expand our team. We are looking to hire someone full time. Years of experience is a plus but willing to train the right person if there is some basic painting knowledge. There is a ton of growth potential to lead your own team. Most of our work is located in Nassau and Suffolk County.
Responsibilities:
Applies paint, varnishes, and stains to interior and/or exterior surfaces.
Applicants must be able to professionally prep and apply: paint, tape, spackle, skim coat
Prepares surfaces for painting by spackling, sanding, and priming etc.
Fills nail holes, cracks, and joints with joint compound, wood filler, or caulk.
Maintains clean work area both before and especially after task completion.
Ability to work on ladders to reach high ceilings or walls
Ability to move furniture up to 50lbs.
Requirements:
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of painting experience.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Must be willing to take a background check.
Must be able to work legally in the United States.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently.
Must be punctual, have good communication skills, and maintain a positive attitude.
Must be honest and reliable and follow instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must perform all painting in a competent, timely manner.
Must be able to perform capably with minimal direct supervision.
