Job Description
Role: Superintendent or Project Superintendent is the company's representative at the project site. The Superintendent directs and coordinates the activities of the trades on site.
Responsibilities:
- Sets up Jobsite
- Locates manholes
- Sets up Shots
- Completes daily operational and safety paperwork and reports
- Submits weekly status reports
- Trouble shoots staffing, operations, quality supply issues
- Provides needed supplies and fuel
- Arranges employee accommodations
- Oversees new hire training
- Conducts safety meetings
- Serves as first contact for municipal inspectors
- Secures rental equipment
- Receives materials
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:(Education, Experience, Required & Preferred Skills, Physical abilities)
- HS degree preferred.
- Must have a min 1 year's facility production experience, preferably in industrial setting.
- Must be willing to learn and provide instructions, able to communicate, work in a process-oriented manner.
- Proactively manages resources efficiently.
- Works in uncontrolled temperature warehouse environment.
