POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a person with a passion for building maintenance (e.g. electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, HVAC, fire suppression systems, etc.); and making sure Purple is a great environment to work in. We are looking for someone who can help us focus on preventive maintenance (solving problems before they become problems).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee Grantsville Warehouse facility repairs/maintenance
• Perform basic to intermediate electrical maintenance
• Perform basic to intermediate HVAC maintenance
• Perform basic to intermediate plumbing maintenance
• Perform a variety of building maintenance tasks (i.e. preventive maintenance on various building systems, roll-up doors, etc.)
• Operate hand and power tools
• Landscape maintenance
• Fire suppression system maintenance
• Large overhead rolling doors and dock leveler maintenance
• Facility forklift, golf cart, and man lift maintenance
• Document work completed via an electronic maintenance management system

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of relatable experience
• General knowledge of building repairs (basic plumbing, basic electrical, landscape maintenance, basic HVAC, etc.)
• Ability to know when to bring in licensed contractors to perform repairs
• Experience with an electronic  maintenance management system preferred
• Active license in a trade is a plus
  
   

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to independently maintain/organize work priorities and schedules
• Experience in effectively communicating with and interacting with employees at every level
• Ability to maintain a high-quality level of work
• Ability to build out preventive maintenance schedules based on manufacturer’s recommendations and professional experience.
• Must have an attitude of safety and accuracy
• Must be comfortable working in a man lift at a height of 30+ feet
