Compensation The compensation target range for this role is: $95,000 - $100,000 Job Summary The Product Sourcing Manager is responsible for the execution of strategic sourcing activities including contract management, cost negotiation, supply chain and logistical coordination, product development coordination, spend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives through total cost of ownership. Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and manage a supplier base that is strategically capable and competitive. Evaluate supplier capabilities and establish sources for new materials, technologies, and markets as dictated by business requirements. Responsible for negotiating and executing contracts with suppliers. Oversees completion of supplier and material qualifications. Competitively bid on existing products or programs as required. Deliver reporting of key sourcing-related measurements to assess and track results. Partner cross functionally to determine total cost and implement initiatives timely and effectively. Coordinate within the organization on new product introductions and transition plans, focusing on Design for Procurement and Design for Manufacturing methodologies. Meet with suppliers as required to assess and communicate performance, developing mitigation strategies as necessary. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying degree of responsibility. Demonstrated success implementing organizational change in a matrixed environment. Strong financial acumen. Effectively communicates at all levels of the organization. Proficient with Microsoft Excel. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to travel upwards of 30% both domestically and internationally. Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Education, Experience:   BS / BA degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain. 3-5 years of related experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience with global sourcing, procurement, and product development.
