SUMMARY:

The role of a Team Lead is to ensure top quality hospitality is delivered to our guests as well as supporting the team.

In addition, all staff is expected to create and maintain an inviting atmosphere for our guests. This atmosphere is created through positivity, support, a shared knowledge, and effective communication.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No direct reports.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure proper daily operations of bar including but not limited to product control, staffing, guest engagement, health and hygiene, quality control, etc.
• Establish excellent rapport with Drive Shack guests and promote prompt, courteous, efficient guest services
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Assist in daily staffing, as well as training, recruitment, and ongoing development
• See that work is carried out in a way that minimizes risks to health and safety of both employees and guests, as well as ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Facilitate communication between guests, bar staff, supervisors, and managers
• Be responsive to all guest requests and concerns
• Maintain safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as requested by management
• Additional projects may be assigned to this position to assist the company leadership on major initiatives, as deemed necessary

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Ability to work in fast paced environment and have a good level of stamina and mobility
• Work schedule varies and will include working on days, nights, holidays, and weekends and requires standing and/or walking for extended periods both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in high temperature environments for extended periods of time
• Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Outstanding communication skills, and experience working with staff at all levels.
• Familiarity with safety & sanitation, along with industry best practices.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for hours at a time, including maneuvering up and down stairs.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at-a-time without assistance.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
