A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud. Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing PwC’s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, you’ll help with budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services and financing.

- Understanding financial systems, finance policies/procedures and process improvement solutions related to financial systems, pricing, engagement economics and strategic projects.
Demonstrates extensive-level, abilities success with managing the identification and addressing of engagement financial needs by:
- Working with business teams and key stakeholders, both management and operational, to improve existing processes and solve process-related problems;
- Managing initiatives and firm-wide projects;
- Acting as contact for firm initiatives and serves as point of contact, disseminating information to Finance team as appropriate;
- Working closely with leaders, to interpret results, identify trends, and develop/implement strategies to combat issues;
- Acting as a liaison between the Finance teams and other Firm functional organizations;
- Serving as a trusted advisor to the Consulting Finance business unit leadership to provide outstanding support, meet the expectations of client groups, and achieve common goals;
- Applying knowledge and understanding of the Firm's standard suite of work solutions including proficiency in GFS, myEngage and FlexForecastx;
- Analyzing business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated;
- Using and understanding Firm-wide technical tools to include Microsoft office, Alteryx,, Tableau, PowerBI and other analytical tools;
- Demonstrating experience building and maintaining relationships with business partners, finance leaders, and stakeholders; and,
- Providing analytical and technical assistance to staff.
