A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You'll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.
Our Internal Tax team provides internal services related to financial services, treasury and taxation. As part of our team, you'll help the team provide a full range of taxation services to PwC related to complex financial reporting, cost management, tax planning, investment management and transaction processing.

- Performing state and local tax return reviews and completion of compliance;
- Monitoring tax compliance requirements across multiple entities, and managing ongoing tax audits;
- Conducting tax research including strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks, solving complex issues impacting tax returns, determining proper tax return treatment/presentation and review related technical tax memorandum;
- Working with financial statements as well as transaction level journal entry detail;
- Understanding financial systems, business processes, organization structure and the legal structure as it relates to filing requirements and planning opportunities for the Firm and all of its related entities; and,
- Coordinating with other departments within the Firm to prepare, review, and analyze reports necessary for preparation of the Firm's tax returns.
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following:
- Innovating through new and existing technologies, as well as experimenting with digitization solutions;
- Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to firm leadership;
- Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize processes;
- Creating a positive environment, monitoring workloads of team members, providing meaningful feedback in a timely manner, and participating in the hiring process to help establish a department with high quality staff;
- Keeping leadership informed of progress and issues;
