PwC’s Workforce Portfolio is a suite of SaaS solutions that address digital upskilling, automation, people analytics, and other areas. This role is responsible for driving product revenue, developing sales strategies and executing campaigns to source and close new opportunities. The Account Executive is responsible for creating, identifying, and closing sales across clients. Prior experience selling educational and/or automation software into the enterprise space is highly preferred.
Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader with managing the identification and addressing of customer needs in executing various aspects of customer sales lifecycle, including the following areas:
- Demonstrating successful selling and closing SaaS and cloud-based software;
- Having the ability to drive revenue and retire quota, using negotiation skills and ability to advance opportunities of all sizes across multiple buyers;
- Having the ability to translate business needs into product features, articulating business benefits of product features and technologies;
- Engaging current and prospective customers to qualify them for product selling opportunities;
- Prospecting, qualifying incoming sales leads and verifying interest/applicability for PwC products;
- Building and managing a sales pipeline from cold prospect to close;
- Maintaining an understanding of customers business models and ongoing needs related to company solutions;
- Communicating value proposition to customers;
- Operationalizing our sales process for predictable sales cycles, account team engagement and opportunity conversion rates;
- Understanding the value of each product or offering within different client industries;
- Understanding the features and capabilities as well as technical architecture of each product;
- Understanding of Sales & Marketing materials and industry sales strategy;
- Coordinating with the Product Manager and Development team to understand product development and strategy, including the work effort, technical steps, and resources needed to activate products for each client;
- Coordinating with account teams and client stakeholders to set expectations for the work effort, technical steps, and resources needed to activate products for each client;
- Collaborating with the Product Manager and Development team to create activation run books, user guides, and other relevant end-user documentation, such as training materials, for each product;
- Collaborating with sector engagement teams to understand new features and functionality;
- Collaborating with Customer Success team to ensure each product activation includes customer success accountability;
- Utilizing program and project management skills and ability to self-direct work;
- Preparing, communicating, and presenting complex written and verbal materials for audiences of all levels;
- Liaising with and coordinating with stakeholders across multiple groups, including senior stakeholders;
- Possessing proven business management skills, a deep understanding of digital technologies, effective interpersonal and communication skills, leadership qualities, and uncompromising ethics;
- Managing multiple complex concurrent pursuits at once;
- Demonstrating interest and enthusiasm for transformation; and,
- Demonstrating prior product management experience.
