Position Summary:
Our Field Technicians perform and coordinate the maintenance and installation of various systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Field Technician responsible for Installation, Service, and Inspections of Burglar Alarm, Fire Alarm, Access Control and Video Surveillance systems.
- Installation, service and inspections of fire alarm and associated systems
- Prepare for fire alarm installations by reviewing orders, gathering equipment, supplies and tools; coordinating schedules with customers
- Perform routine inspections on various fire alarm systems - verifies system functionality by testing equipment, connections, and signals; identifies and corrects any and all problems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on alarm systems including ground faults, shorts, opens and unconfigured devices
- Exhibit professionalism and conduct in accordance with established company standards
- Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns, answering questions
- Able to communicate well with customers and work well with co-workers
- Perform all work assignments safely and timely
Education & Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, technical training preferred
- Massachusetts Electrical License (D) required.
- 5 years of experience in industry required
- Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Driver’s License
Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 Hourly
