Pay Range: $70/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Data Engineer with Experience in defining spend analysis.
Create business rules, supplier normalization.
8k suppliers.
Heavy ETL - data engineering with functional bent of sourcing and finance.
Experience in deploying rule based engine.
E.g. data source can be Excel-and then only work looks like a pure lookup.
Data can be tricky (Strong ETL skills needed)
ETL/Transformation experience.
Data engineering experience with a functional knowledge of sourcing and/or finance.
Working experience in deploying rule based engines (if excel-vlookup type work but it’s not always excel).
Data can be tricky: for examples-Client-how do we classify them-professional services OR technology OR consulting.
So functional knowledge is needed to understand where this vendor will get classified. Another example-Onsite-T&E.
Travel classified under travel BUT it’s not travel but it should be professional services spend.
Needs to know finance or sourcing side.
