Pyramid Healthcare, an industry leader in behavioral healthcare, is excited to announce the opening of our new facility in Radford. At Pyramid Healthcare in Radford we will be specializing in Substance Use Disorder treatment. We have been in operations since 1999 and currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues. Hourly Rate: $27 - $32/hour
Schedule: Part Time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts screenings and level of care assessments
- Facilitates appropriate admissions to all levels of care based on Locus and/or ASAM criteria.
- Makes appropriate referrals to community resources and outside referral opportunities in the best interest of the client.
- Completes assessment, admission and other paperwork (i.e NCTOPPS, authorizations, PCP’s and crisis plans)
- Manage admission pre-certification with funding sources.
- May be expected to provide coverage for other evaluation counselors in the region when requested by Supervisor.
- Clinician will also be responsible for a small caseload of clients to complete group therapy with weekly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Licensure, Education, & Experience:
- Required minimum: Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work
- Preferred: LPC, LCSW
- Masters degree in a human services or related field
