Maintenance Worker
Job Summary:
The maintenance worker is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performs general cleaning, minor repairs, and other tasks as assigned. This position has flexible hours.
Pay: Starting at $16/hour
Essential Functions:
- Performs maintenance and janitorial duties of indoor and outdoor facilities, including parking lot and grounds
- Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning)
- Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing)
- Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas)
- Light maintenance (basic carpentry, painting, minor plumbing)
- Groundskeeping (mowing, trimming, maintenance of parking lot)
- Paints and refurbishes areas as needed
Job Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting and other minor repairs
- Excellent attendance record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift
- Ability to grasp, grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel, or balance
- Works well with others in a team environment
