As the Senior Manager for Workforce Management, you'll lead financial management initiatives and reporting, influencing decisions across a multibillion-dollar workforce cost base for the Qantas Group. You’ll design and implement the Workforce Finance strategic direction, fostering critical relationships within the Qantas finance team and reshaping workforce finance reporting for strategic decision-making by senior executives. Furthermore, you'll drive consistent reporting and forecasting across all Group workforces. This role, integral to the Qantas Group Recovery Program, requires you to monitor performance, navigate conflicting priorities among stakeholders, and guide financial planning, achieving both immediate and long-term goals. Your strategic oversight will propel the company's recovery and beyond. To be successful in this role, you’ll bring: An extensive background in various Finance sectors, coupled with practical experience in bridging gaps with other business areas through collaborative projects or direct involvement in non-Finance roles. HR exposure would be highly advantageous. Exceptional people management skills underscored by a solid record of effectively leading teams within evolving and dynamic contexts. The ability to navigate complex situations effectively, reconciling conflicting priorities and requirements among senior executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding. A knack for cultivating and enhancing internal networks, ensuring seamless collaboration and smooth communication across the organization. A high level of proficiency in managing internal stakeholders and conveying complex financial concepts clearly, thereby strengthening understanding and influencing decision-making processes Why Qantas?
