Q CELLS Enable is the C&I (Commercial and Industrial) EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) arm of Qcells which is the market leading PV and battery solution provider in US and Global market. We are based in NYC and Teaneck, NJ and quickly expanding our footprint to all neighboring states in Northeast.
Position Overview
The Director, Finance will be responsible for managing the general accounting and treasury matters of the company and supervising the finance team members. This position is required to work in line with Global Qcells’ financial calendar and procedure and to cover a multitude of accounting activities, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and the support of budget and forecast activities.
This position reports directly to the Head of the Company, Managing Director. Base location of this position is in Teaneck, NJ.
Compensation: $150,000-175,000 (Based on experience) Bonus
\n- Manage the daily operations of the Finance Team including accounts payable, accounts receivable, preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Recognize revenue and cost of sales for various EPC projects utilizing percentage of completion method.
- Manage all monthly closing procedures including accrual and capital asset schedules.
- Prepare financial statements and various related reports as requested.
- Cash management including, but not limited to AR/AP monitoring and management, cash forecasting and arranging internal/external loans.
- Assist with the review of various legal agreements to understand the accounting and financial implications.
- Implement, monitor, and improve internal controls and process documentation for rapidly growing business.
- Issue invoices and collect receivable in a timely manner.
- Assist with internal/external audit requests and ensure audit requests are addressed in a timely manner.
- Prepare the annual budget and perform monthly variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with both financial regulations and statutory law, including state and local sales tax requirements.
- Identify areas of inefficiency in business operation to reduce costs across the business.
- Support our organizational strategy by informing and working with management.
- Assist with migration and integration of financial systems platforms and applications.
- Provide general administrative support including procurement support services.
- Provide high quality administrative support to the Executive Leadership as an Executive staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Qcells Enable.
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
- Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
- Experience using SAP.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting.
- Bi-lingual Korean/English is a big plus.
- Leadership experience and skills.

- Comfortable working in a fast-moving dynamic, environment.
