POSITION DESCRIPTION :
The Associate HRBP performs the day-to-day HR functional duties related to the assigned client groups, such as employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, training and development, compliance, and HR policy implementation.
This position reports to the Manager, Compensation & People Ops, or another member of senior management that the President of the Company may designate.
This position will be based out of our Irvine office, with an in-office schedule that is set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
Remote options could be considered for exceptional cases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the HR Business Partner on strategic HR initiatives that may include talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, workforce planning, change management, compliance, communication, and on / offboarding.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints, harassment, and discrimination allegations, and take appropriate action to resolve issues while ensuring fair and consistent application of the policies and regulations.
- Oversee and administer the HR daily workflow of the assigned client groups in partnership with the People Operations and Talent Acquisition teams.
- Manage performance management programs, providing guidance to business leaders and employees on performance reviews, goal setting, and career development.
- Ensure accurate processing and maintenance of employee records in HRIS and internal systems in compliance with organizational rules and policies.
- Collaborate with senior management to support organizational goals and initiatives through effective HR strategies.
- Coordinate and conduct training sessions on various HR topics, promoting continuous learning and development.
- Stay up to date on HR trends and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements to HR processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations and performance management.
- Strong knowledge and application of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of employees.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- HR certifications, such as PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-CP (Certified Professional) is a plus.
