Reports to: Director, Credentialing
Summary / Objective:
QGenda is looking to hire a full-time Credentialing Assistant. The ideal candidate is hyper-organized, able to work at a quick pace, and has a passion for credentialing.
We are looking for an experienced candidate who is committed to the growth of the organization and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. They must be a team player and open to working closely with the credentialing team to handle the credentialing and payer enrollment process from beginning to end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the administrative duties as assigned by a Director or Project manager to assist credentialing in the provider enrollment process.
- Develop a deep expertise in how CredentialGenie software, services, processes, systems, and resources work, and how to use them to drive positive outcomes.
- Help with the onboarding process by working directly with credentialing staff, and providers to help facilitate the process of enrollment with insurance payers.
- Address time-sensitive issues such as customer requests for information, customer issues or concerns, and responding in a professional and timely manner.
- Upload and maintain important documents to our credentialing software
- Pull reports and update data as needed
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with the credentialing team to create partnerships that yield success, results, and credibility
- Assistance with maintaining worklists and provider-specific records in a credentialing database, ensuring all important details are documented and accurate.
- Properly maintain files and missing items on providers as requested, items may include (CAQH, CV, certifications, licenses, malpractice files, hospital privileges, etc.)
- Performs data entry and scans accurately and efficiently according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Consistently knowledgeable of the status of each assigned process and answers inquiries related to providers’ credential status.
- Assists with primary source verification when needed.
- Work closely with the other team members to support them, and ensure that the enrollment is handled as quickly and professionally as possible.
- Maintains excellent communication (verbal, written, and electronic) with all customers, including, but not limited to, internal staff, providers, and customers.
- Demonstrates a service-oriented approach to the position by conveying courtesy, respect, and a positive attitude by showing initiative and offering assistance to other staff.
- Maintains confidentiality of provider information and performs other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

- 1-3 years of payer enrollment experience
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong communication skills verbal, and written
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to problem-solve, research and analyze data quickly
- High sense of urgency and likes to meet deadlines

Education / Professional Certifications or Licenses Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
