Summary / Objective:
QGenda is seeking an IT Specialist to join the IT Team of our fast growing software company in Atlanta, GA. As an IT Specialist you will be responsible for supporting our employee’s IT needs which may include troubleshooting hardware or software issues, setting up equipment, completing on-boarding and off-boarding tasks, and managing inventory. You will work closely with all internal IT systems as well as facilitate IT communication, procedures and documentation. Strong problem solving and analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and develop solutions is a must. The IT Specialist will report to the IT Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct IT support to employees
- Respond to user requests for service and determine nature and extent of support needed
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of software used throughout the organization
- Manage standard deployment of hardware and software solutions
- Perform hardware and software upgrades to existing computer equipment as needed
- Train employees as needed in startup, basic and advanced use of software programs such as Google GSuite, Apple Laptops, and Zoom
- Provide group training upon request and/or create process documentation related to IT tasks both employee facing and internal IT use
- Consistently update job knowledge
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in the operation and application of the business standard software and a working knowledge of a wide variety of commonly used hardware and software
- Assist in evaluation and testing of computer software and in planning for future needs
- Complete on-boarding and off-boarding tasks for employees including setup or deprovisioning of equipment, access accounts, and tracking of such tasks
- Maintain current and accurate inventory for all IT assets
- Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 1 Years IT Help Desk Experience
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience with Google Workspace
- Experience with MacOS Computers required (QGenda is 99% MacOS)
- Experience Supporting Remote Employees preferred
- Experience working with a Help Desk Ticketing System
- Experience with Mobile Device Management preferred
- Experience with Video Conferencing (Zoom preferred)
- Experience with Audio/Video Equipment preferred
- Understanding of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, networking, and accessory equipment.
- Basic understanding of Networking and routing protocols
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
- Must be able to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain all the software applications.
- Ability to independently perform all the duties of the position efficiently and effectively.
Education/Professional Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (Computer related field preferred)
- Jamf Certification a plus
