What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at QHL Staffing?

Job Summary:

The general goal for the Business Development Executive is to market services from the company to attain new clientele by offering 3PL services. This is a crucial role that contributes to the growth and expansion of the operation. Business Development Executive will be reporting to the client company’s Head of Operations. Responsibilities may differ depending on regions assigned.

Position Details:

  • 1st shift position
  • Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Pay range from $18.00-$23.00 an hour DOE
  • Weekly Pay (Fridays)
  • Located in Colton
  • Temp to hire
  • Potentially long-term position but the associate must show great performance, attendance, etc.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Research and follow new/referred leads to acquire new business.
  • Responsible for familiarizing themselves with the services provided.
  • Create presentations highlighting the clients, 3PL services for prospects.
  • Creating PowerPoints utilizing Canva, to present to prospective clients.
  • Send/receive communications to prospective clients and replying in a professional and timely manner.
  • Utilize Salesforce to source potential clients.
  • Work toward exceeding quotas set by Manager.
  • Planning and organizing daily work schedule for field visits to new prospects.
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing trends and remain updated on competition.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information.
  • Perform cold calls and manage/create email campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Responsible for coordinating site visits as well as ensuring reliable transportation for oneself.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to safety.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Outside Sales/Field Sales (door to door/B2B).
  • Experience and knowledge of 3PL Warehouse and distribution.
  • Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record.
  • Excellent time management - must be able to organize and manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bilingual (Preferred) – English and Spanish.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Able to bend, lift, stoop, crawl, sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity, if necessary.
  • Looking at computer screen for long periods of time.
  • Ability to hear and understand audible signals and instructions in a noisy environment.
  • Good vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision.
  • Exposure to loud noises and vibration.
  • Clear verbal and nonverbal communication abilities to follow instructions, collaborate with team members, and report any safety concerns promptly.
  • Ability to move through warehouse/offices safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
