Channel Account Manager (India)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of Qlik products within the commercial market through a combination of direct sales engagement and by leveraging the partner ecosystem.. This candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, lead management, qualification, product demonstrations, evaluation, close and customer retention. The candidate should be able to keep track of their sales and effectively communicate with other team members while out in the field.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Independently identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within your region coupled with upselling to the existing customer base
- Collaborate with Qlik’s partners to build, manage, and close new opportunities
- Conduct product demonstrations and generate potential leads for future sales
- Interact with all levels of the target organization
- Manage the sales cycle including lead generation, qualification, and other deliverables for closing deals while consistently delivering on sales goals/quotas
- Track and report sales in an organized manner
- Communicate effectively with other members of the team
- Participation in industry or regionally focused field marketing events
Skill and qualifications for this role include:
- Experience in "solution selling" to senior decision-makers
- Ability to qualify and prioritize prospects, and generate opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building
- Strong negotiation skills
- Quota Achiever; an outgoing, focused, and organized person with a strong will to succeed
- Bachelor's/Master's degree with relevant experience
- 4- 8 years of sales experience
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Exposure to the BI, Data Engineering is a plus
