The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities for Quality Labor Management.
The primary focus of this role is to generate and qualify leads, initiate contact with potential customers, and set the stage for the sales team to close deals.
The BDR plays a critical role in the growth and expansion of the business.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential leads, prospects, and target markets through various channels, including online research, industry events, social media, and referrals.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market changes to uncover opportunities.
- Initiate contact with leads through phone calls, emails, face-to-face, and social media to introduce the company's products or services.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage prospects and capture their interest.
- Assess the needs and requirements of potential clients to determine if they are qualified leads.
- Gather information about the lead's budget, timeline, decision-making process, and pain points.
- Provide an overview of QLM’s products or services, demonstrating how they can meet the prospect's specific needs.
- Maintaining regular communication with leads to nurture relationships and keep them engaged.
- Address any questions, concerns, or objections, and tailor the sales pitch to address the unique needs of each prospect.
- Pass qualified leads the sales team, ensuring a smooth transition and providing comprehensive background information.
- Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate the conversion of leads into customers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities.
- Analyze data to report on the success of lead generation efforts and to refine strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to adapt business development strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with prospects.
