Baggage Handlers
As a Baggage Handler, you will play an important role in ensuring that flights run on time by providing efficient ground support services.
Your duty as a baggage handler can include having to take bags off the oversized belts in baggage claim, take bags and cart them to another location for security screening.
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Be able to pass a drug screen and pass an airport mandated background check.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Bend, squat, kneel, crawl and stoop, standing, walking long distance and lifting on a frequent basis and for extended periods
Pay and schedule:
Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. The successful team member brings their “A” game every day with energy and enthusiasm, respect for their team, and the highest regard for safety!
- Work a rotating schedule, with both Day and Night shifts available
- 8-10 hour shifts, with OT possible
- Day shift: $16/hour
- Night shift: $17/hour
Example of a current shift schedule is below:
Day Shift
3:30 AM - 12:00 PM
3:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Night Shift
11:45 AM - 8:15 PM
1:45 PM - 12:15 AM
