Responsibilities
- Perform set-up and operation of manufacturing equipment to produce high quality Qorvo prototype devices for Qorvo business units
- Follow work procedures and operate semiconductor packaging equipment; Surface mount (SMT), die attach, wire bond, molding, grinding, marking, Die to tape and reel (DTR), and/or singulation
- Assists with work center procedures, implements those procedures, and ensures all steps and measurements are followed precisely
- Utilizes measurement tools and basic math to verify specific measurements at each operation
- Responsible for identifying any equipment issues or product quality errors
- Must be comfortable using microscope for high percentage of processes
- Extended periods of standing or sitting in one location
- High School diploma required, Associates degree in Technology field a plus
- 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment, clean room experience, module assembly experience preferred
- Must be familiar with computer-controlled production equipment, e-mail, and basic computer skills required; specific equipment training will be provided
- Work will be performed in a 10K clean room environment that requires adherence to strict dress code and garment guidelines
- Flexibility to support overtime and/or alternate shifts
- Attention to detail is required
- Must be willing to work 12 hr. 2-2-3 Night shift
- Conscious about quality and strives to be best with productivity
- Cares about customer, both internal and outside and understands need for satisfaction from customers
