Director of Housing Program
Direct and supervise the activities, employees, and programs of Daybreak Center. Provide administrative supervision to staff of Daybreak as needed to ensure full utilization of this resource to meet the needs of homeless individuals and families in the county.
- Supervise, hire, and evaluate the performance of employees working in the Community Services Central area.
- Administer, direct, and supervise all Community Services Central area program services that are part of the Center. These programs include Emergency Assistance, Homeless Prevention, shelter and support services
- Supportive Housing Programs in Will, Kendall and Grundy counties.
- Ensure that the Permanent Supportive Housing Programs, for Homeless services operate in full compliance with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and HUD guidelines and that all national outcomes are met or exceeded.
- Oversee a presence in the Will and Grundy/Kendall County communities with ongoing evaluation of underserved communities and their needs.
- Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.
A Master’s degree is required for this position with preferences in areas of social work, or related field preferred.
Minimum five (5) years program experience working with the homeless is required.
Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
