Position Title: Customer Service – 1st Shift
Wage: $22.00 - $25.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

- Coordinate the product/installation of dock equipment, door projects or equipment service
- Learn features, benefits, and differentiators of products
- Read, analyze and interpret commercial construction drawings and specifications
- Generate proposals (determine correct equipment & pricing, solicit installation pricing, calculate freight costs) to be sent to customer/General Contractor
- Maintain and update project activity in ACT! Database
- Perform follow up calls to General Contractors on open quotes
- Generate approval drawings/submittal packages for General Contractors
- Review purchase documents for approval
- Enter and manage order in JD Enterprises system
- Write up and submit equipment orders with manufacturing facilities
- Process intercompany and installation invoices
- Act as customer contact advising on order changes, order status, ship dates, etc.
- Coordinate installations with installers and General Contractors
- Generate and submit closeout documents
- Dispatch on service/warranty requests and coordinate to completion
- Three to five years of experience in customer service, technical support or similar field; working in the commercial industry with General Contractors is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to communicate effectively with General Contractors, Architects, Project Managers, installers and other team members
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced atmosphere and meet deadlines
- Technically-minded
