Position Title: Production – 2nd 3rd Shift
Wage: $14.00 per hour $1 shift premium for 2nd 3rd shift
Shift: 2nd, 3rd
Hours: 4:00pm-12:00am; 12:00am-8:00am
QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Production position on 2nd 3rd shift at a company in West Bend, WI. This great company offers a 90-day set career progression plan with $1/hr. increase after 90 days, another after 6 months, and another after one year once hired on. They also offer optional overtime, great benefits, and a brand new temperature-controlled building.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate and tend machine that performs one or more packaging functions.
- Start machine and observe operation to detect malfunctions of machine; stop machine and report malfunction to supervisor.
- Load raw material; inspect at the source; ensure quality of finished product, stamp and pack.
- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
- Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
- Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
- Provide for efficient use of materials, protecting them from contamination.
- Package products as specified on the work order.
- Perform all job duties following proper "Good Manufacturing Practice" guidelines.
- Work overtime as needed and be open to working in other departments as trained.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) recipient.
- One to three months related experience and/or training.
- Self-motivated, conscientious individual who possesses a results-oriented mindset.
- One who works well in a team environment and has a proactive "can-do" mentality.
