What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production position at QPS Employment Group?
Position Title: Production - 1st Shift
Wage: $17.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm
QPS is looking for forklift operators for our client company in Ogden, Iowa. This will be a temporary position but may become a full-time opportunity for the right candidate! Apply now as this position will not be open for long!
Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in seed conditioning.
- Prepare boxes for packaging.
- Load/unload seed bags by hand, pallet jack, and forklift (only after being trained by client).
- Palletize bags of seed and wrap pallets with stretch wrapper.
- Label products using a stapler to attach product information.
- Assist with general housekeeping as needed.
- Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift (rotating shifts).
Production Requirements:
- Must be able to do repetitive bending/twisting/and reaching.
- Must be able to do stand for a full shift, up to 12 hours.
- Must be able to lift up for 60lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
