QSR Automations is looking for a Software Development Manager!
Job Summary:
QSR Automations has an immediate opening for an exceptional, results-oriented individual for the role ofSoftware Development Manager.
This role would report to the Director of Software Development. The Manager of Software development is responsible for leading the development of QSR Automations product features and capabilities.
What you will be doing:
- Manages a team of 8-12 software engineers working across 1-3 agile development teams
- Assists lead engineers with code review, code guidance, and other technical assistance across several agile development teams
- Assists engineers and development teams in estimating and planning initiatives
- Responsible for hiring of software engineers for agile development teams
- Mentors and trains software engineers to increase overall team technical skillsets and stay current with technology trends
- Works with Solutions Architects and lead engineers to select new technologies and design efficient and resilient software applications and services
- Works with Customer Success teams to triage and resolve customer issues through escalation processes
- Works closely with Business Analysis, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Documentation teams
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of QSR’s product portfolio and contributes to product features and design

Qualifications
Required:
- 3 years prior leadership experience
- 7 years Software Engineer / Application Development or related experience
- C# and/or C development experience
- Working in agile / Scrum / Kanban environment
- Source code management (Git, SVN, TFS, etc.) experience
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills
- Experience managing and engaging remote/offshore teams, as well as management of contractors with a record of positive business results
