What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at QSS?
Responsibilities:
- Patrol designated areas on foot and by vehicle to ensure the safety and security of premises
-Report any suspicious activities or incidents
- Enforce rules, regulations, and policies to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and appropriately
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks and take appropriate action
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties, including walking, standing, and occasionally lifting or restraining individuals if necessary
