MUST:
Experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse
2 plus years of ED experience is required.
ACLS - Required
BLS - Required
DC Registered Nurse License - Required
ER Experience - Required: 3 Years
PALS - Required
Primary Sourse On-Line Verification - Required
Registered Nurse Travel Experience - Required: 1 Years
TNCC - Required
NIHSS Required
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved Registered Nurse program
Required BSN - Highly desired
The ED nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood and chest tubes.
The Emergency Department treats every type of patient.
Patients range from urgent care (simple procedures) psych, pediatric and critical care/trauma patients.
On average the unit sees 200 patients a day with multiple inpatient admissions and discharges to home.
