Job description

This is a contract with possible extension or conversion to full-time based on job performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

·Field Service Technician (Controls)

• Support the on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You typically work under direct supervision and may work without supervision.
• You will follow detailed work instruction and escalate any discrepancies in customer requirements, blue prints, or work instructions.
• You will identify, escalate, and explore opportunities to improve the installation or repair procedures. You will escalate any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment.
• You will support the training of the customer on proper usage for complex systems.

Be the face of Company to the customer and interact directly with end-users
Learn end-to-end delivery of company solutions.
Become a technical expert for complex solutions/product offerings.

• Operates on site in an on-call capacity. Duties include installing and repairing equipment, and training customer employees on how to maintain machinery.
• Performs trial run of machinery to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks. Works under minimal supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Special Considerations: Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions.

Requirements:

• · May require an associate's degree in area of specialty and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Preferred Skills:

• Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated. Operation of a Powered industrial truck is considered at least Industrial and may be considered Heavy as determined by other exposures.

Pre-Employment Requirements: (this will stay the same for every job)

· Must pass a criminal background check (7 year felony sex offender)

· Must pass a pre-employment drug test (10 panel for recreational drugs and opiates)

· Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19

All customers are required to wear a mask, curbside pickup available, common surfaces are sanitized regularly, vaccination requirements etc.

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
